WHAT IS THE SEASON SCHEDULE?

- U7 will be once or twice a week for 10 weeks ending with a jamboree. U9 will have additional jamborees throughout the season.
- Pre-season will begin mid-April.
- SMLL sets the game schedule which will begin early May and run until playoffs at end of June. This schedule will be posted after registration closes in April and all association teams are set (same as hockey).

WHERE DO WE PRACTICE and PLAY?

- Practices will be held at either the Credit Union Centre in Kingston, or KMCC in Berwick.
- Games will be held across the province which include our home rinks, Truro, New Galsgow/Trenton. East Hants, and possibly Sydney, Cape Breton.

ARE THE TEAMS CO-ED?

As a Female you have the option to play either Co-Ed or on a Female team. VTL have strong female numbers and continue to grow the female game. We will have a female only team at the U11, U13 and U15 divisons in the league, and U7, U9 and U17 remain co-ed. We reserve the right to request players to "play down" or switch to a female team based on skill and safety considerations. Thank you for your understanding.

WHAT ABOUT GOALIES?

Goaltenders are needed for all teams. Participants will receive upper goalie pads, legs guards, neck protector and a stick. Gloves, helmet and hockey pants will be needed. VTL will provide goalie coaching and clinics throughout the season, as we are able to.
